When reporting a problem, please include:
Your iPhone model and iOS version.
The version of Above Water you’re using.
What you were trying to do and what happened.
Any error message you saw.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or backup files. If you include a screenshot, hide any private information first.
Backing up and restoring your data
In Above Water, open Settings → Advanced Options → Back Up Above Water.
Select Create Backup to save your history and settings through Files.
Select Restore from Backup to choose a saved backup and review the available restore options.
Backups are manual. Create a new backup whenever you want to preserve your latest changes. Backup files are not password-protected, so store them somewhere you trust.
Above Water stores its records on your device and does not automatically synchronize between devices. The developer cannot access or recover your personal records.
Getting reminders to work
Check that Daily reminder is enabled in Above Water’s Settings and that your reminder times are correct.
On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Above Water and allow notifications. Focus settings, Scheduled Summary, and Silent Mode can affect when notifications appear or whether they make a sound.
You can use Send test in 5 seconds in Above Water’s reminder settings to check delivery.
Removing your data
To remove your records from the app, open Settings → Erase All User Data and follow the confirmation steps.
Exported backup files and device backups are separate copies. Remove those separately if you also want to delete them.
Before deleting or reinstalling Above Water, create a backup if you want to keep your records.
